shoulda gotten OT - weak last goal there and so was #2 for the ducks - emery CAN'T let getzlaf's weak shot go in to tie the game

Sens showed rust after off for so long - then again w/o 2 PPG this one is an easy ducks win

sense eliminate the rust and win G2

The Ottawa punch is strong. All goals tonight were playoff goals, earned through either hard work or the old adage of just putting the puck on goal. Unless the Sens change the tone of the game they are going to get beat often, they can't match the Ducks. Even worse the Ducks play their game even better on the road. In short I really think the Sens needed this one, they had a chance to get lucky and come out with a win thanks to stupid penalties by the Ducks. If they don't get those again I don't see them being able to get enough chances to win without getting more than their share of lucky bounces.

i said at the time the 5-on-3 PP the Sens had for almost 90 seconds was the key to the game. IF the Sens score they woulda been up 3-1 and GAME OVER! Ducks keep them out of the net and grab all the "Mo" and win the game

still - the Getzlaf goal was a VERY weak goal. you CAN'T let a guy come in off the wing and then go 5-hole on you with a BACKHANDER - CAN'T. NHL goalies trying to win a Cup CAN'T let those kind of shots go into the net - and on the Versus feed - Eddie O said thew same thing - WEAK goal
