Question on eligibility...

I deposited $300 to BJ in August and lost it all. Since then I've won money in their Pick 12 contest which is what I've been using to play with for the last 2 months. Since I've never withdrawn from BJ and am down a net $300 would this make me eligible, or do i have to withdraw and then re-deposit to make sure i'm making "real money wagers"

I just checked the last contest BetJm sponsored, the MNF contest for yesterday's game and even though there is a 100 post requirement to enter that contest, they had approximately 71 entries. Apparently there is no 100 post minimum requirement to enter this contest, and we have no way of knowing how many entries there will be because we are not posting our entries, but instead emailing our entries to dirty. BetJm has thousands of active players; theoretically all of them could enter this contest. Surely you understand the difference if this contest has 10 entrants versus having say, 1000? I would enter the former, but pass on the latter.

do as you must.... but not all those players have played in the month of November and not all of those players, or not even a fraction of those players come to EOG to see this contest... The contest is out there for you to enter or not... totally up to you

Thank you BD....People don't realize how hard it is to find sponsors for these contests, especially with the state of the offshore Business now.


I didn't go into detail on the rules as I didnt think it was a bid deal for a contest Scotty and EOG wanted to reward their Loyal Players in the MOnth of November for. Common sense tells you that if you are rewarding players for the entire Month you cant have the cutoff until the Month is over... That is the ONLY reason that the contest is open til then. Never thought anyone would make a big deal about a contest that is only open to people who played there in the month November. I know Not only the MOds here, but the Mods at every site, work hard on these things for the posters and when you do something for them and it gets thrown back in your face it makes you not want to do them anymore.

I would think betjam is cutting back on some contest because they are not happy with the ratio of active customers against nonactive customers??
