Coyotes and Kings - NHL Thursday

don't know how many saw the Kings/Ducks game last night but for those who did it was one of the most entertaining games i have ever seen. the last 10 minutes of regulation and the 5 minutes of OT saw a ton of great scoring chances for both teams - but more so for the Kings. with about 15 sec in regulation the Kings had about as clear a breakaway as you will ever get - Frolov was all alone from the other side of the red line on in - but was stoned by Hiller who stood on his head the entire game. in OT the Kings had at least 3 great chances and the ducks had some, too

so now here we are less than 24 hours later and the Kings have to play again. they are facing Phoenix once again - a team, that lost Saturday to the Kings ins a shootout but prior to that the 'Yotes won the first 6 times they played. Phoenix is still in playoff contention. barely and they will not make it - but they are still in contention. they are rested and didn't lay it all on the line last night

Phoenix has the 2nd worst Home record in the NHL (which is why they won't make the playoffs). know who has the worst? if you guessed the Kings - congrats - you are right! so now we have a team that left EVERYTHING on the ice Wednesday night and can't have anything left in the gas tank, is awful at home and facing a team still on the borderline for playoff contention. not helping things out is that while PHX sucks @ home (2 games UNDER .500) they are better on the road - 5 games OVER .500

add it all up and this one looks way too easy. i have spoken to a few people i truly respect about this game and we just don't see how this game is close and how it is anything but a VERY EASY Phoenix win

Phoenix +100 is the VERY STRONG play here - one that will be the easiest cashed ticket of the night - BY FAR (This is a very strong play up to -110) and for those who have books with alternate puck lines PHX -1.5 is worth a shot - think it stands a better than 50% chance of cashing
