Liking Colorado Today

No Backstrom, Josh Harding gets the start today. Pavol Demitra is still out(I think) and the game is a road game for the Wild who have lost two in a row on the road. I like Colorado on the PL, too much chalk to play "em straight up but I will parlay them on the ML with the Ducks who I think will beat Edmonton today in what should be a low scoring affair. The grand salami Under might be worth a look but I'm not too sure, but it does seem like Saturdays it goes over and Sunday it goes Under.

Thanks, It was a good day but mainly because of the NFL(thanks Buffalo and Philly). Anyway Colorado covered, just barely, but I'll certainly take it. Not too much going on the NHL tonight, just two games. Anaheim actually blew the game against Edmonton and ended up losing in a shootout. I hope nobody layed the wood on the Ducks ML, because that would be tragic.

Whats worse the chalk on the Unders are usually around -135 and usually the total is 5, and usually they land dead on it. The Ducks are worthless to me. It might be worth fading them more times than not. They haven't won a road game yet and have lost four in a row.

I never play ML bets -200 or above straight up, maybe college football or the NBA but in hockey it's pointless. A bad bounce here or there and boom! a big chalk goes down. Almost played Edmonton strictly for the value but couldn't pull the trigger. Took Vancouver and the over instead. Currently 2-1 Detroit, so at least the over has a decent shot at hitting.
