NHL Play of the Night - Full writeup

We didn't expect to see such a short price attached to the Montreal Canadiens tonight, for their game at HSBC Arena in Buffalo.

Montreal comes into this game riding a 3 game win streak, and will have to continue their superb play in order to once again pass the Pittsburgh Penguins for 1st place in the Eastern Conference. We get to play on the Canadiens who have had 3 days in order to prepare for this one and grab 2 very important points.

On the other side of the equation, Buffalo is fighting for their playoff lives, and although that would indicate a maximum effort from the Sabres, the fact of the matter is, we are starting to see signs of this Buffalo team succumbing to the pressures of every game being of a do or die mentality. Coming off two losses, Buffalo got itself in the win column last night by defeating Ottawa in overtime. This works to our benefit as the affair was an up and down the ice encounter, and with a late night flight and less then 24 hour turnaround, we expect the Canadiens to jump on the Sabres early and cruise to victory.
