120407 Philadelphia Park Race #5
The #1 was pulling away at the top of the stretch and then held up, apparently injured and as the camera zoomed away to the rest of the field coming by it appeared maybe the #1 horse, BULLISH FORCE, ran into the starting gate with jockey aboard. Does anyone know what happened as the camera nor announcer went back to it. The announcer just made a little grunt like "oh man". Nothing more said about it yet on youbet like they don't want to discuss. I don't know if the horse broke down or what but something odd happened.

The wide replay showed the horse running straight for the gate and then the jockey bailed possibly nailing the gate. The horse appeared to avoid the gate, horse went right toward fence and jockey went left maybe hitting the gate. Likely that the horse did break.
