Of course all eyes will be on Street Sense considering he won the Breeders Cup by only 10 lenghts this past November. His odds will be very short somewhere around 1/2 and rightfully so. Do believe there is an interesting horse in this race that could hit the EX or possibly even win if Street Sense isn't 100% #6 Tuefflesberg 10-1 on the ML but if you read the form you will see he is the only speed in a race void of a true frontrunner.. Tuefflesberg might not win, no one will probably beat Street Sense but if this horse hits the EX it could make a for a decent payout.. Good Luck everyone.. |

Very nice pick! He is the only speed in the race and had no chance last out when left at the gate! He broke his maiden over the synth Keeneland surface and the surface has played much better for speed this year unlike last year. Zanjero bounced last out and should have won the Risen Star after a horiable trip, think he is set for his best with the best jock in the world on his back GOGO.....Will be a great race!

Glad to see some horse flesh discussion. Both big races are tough to handicap today. I think the chalks win the Bluegrass with Street Sense and Great Hunter in a coin toss. I might be inclined to lay some $ on Teuflesberg but I can't figure out why, if this horse had a good chance, why both Elliott and Albarado decided to take mounts elsewhere today. This Wed. Elliott came to Keeneland to ride one stakes mount and Robbie has been there every day. Elliott has decided not to make the trip and Albarado left for his chance in the Ark Derby. Just makes me wonder??? Obviously Prado isn't a step down in the irons but it seems odd.
