I killed the last race at the great race place (santa anita) yestersay so lets hope the mo continues today....Note: not my favorite card of all time but here we are! Also, I cant wait to Pollywood park opens because it is so much easier then Santa Anita with most of the horse having trained over that surface! It will be awesome and amazing with what I come with at Hollywood in a few weeks. See ya Wed off to the track!
1st Pass 2nd Lotta Gamble(4-1) is a very intresting prospect in here for Bob Baffert. Gamble had a very good series of works going into his debut and looked like he would have a big say in that event. The son of Point Given never really got any serious action and I know for a fact that Baffert didn't like him at all last out! Gamble hasn't missed a beat in the am and will love the added geound. It all looks right after you realize that his last out was a pure tune up and that he is now set for his best. 3rd Celtic Way (6-1) wanted no part of two turn last out at Bay Meadows. She was claimed last out by Monteleone who is having a great meet and he can get her back to her old form which would crush these. 4th Pass 5th Silber (5-1) is 2 for 31 and normally this is the kind of horse that is nothing I beleive in but today is a exception. a)this mare has really improved in her last two with the blinkers on b)there is a tone of speed in here that doesn't have any experience going two turns that will give her something to run at and c)was ridden horiably last out where I think she would have won with a better ride.....Think she is going to run by them all in the lane at a overlay price at around 7-1 6th Toppers Dream is bred to go long and his last out was his first two turn race. He is likely to have needed that out where he was hooked wide from a impossible post at the mile distance. I love the rider switch to Pedroza and the addition of blinkers....The one to catch! 7th Pass 8th Ratibor has some serious class about him and is no doubt the best horse in the race but Men Only should get a perfect trip in here behind a hot pace. Men Only (3-1) looks like another good claim by O'Neill and this one was once thought of as a pretty decent sort. O'Neill is on fire and the fact that Ratibor hasn't had a race under his belt Men Only is the choice! 9th Latin Rhythms (10-1) hasn't missed a work in over 2 months and is well bred for the grass, Ron Ellis always does well with these types and Valdiva is one of his go to riders! ADD ON
4th Itsallgreektou was a late scratch and dramastically changes the race.....Aunt Pink has benn beaten a combined 50 something lenghts in her first two starts byt has trained brillinat in the am with the addition of blinkers! The scratch may leave her on the front end at a very decent price! Stute has been known to pull this move before... GL |

yeah i'm always at philly park, i love hangin out with the "old heads" and pickin their brain about the local glue...alotta them are close to the trainers so they throw me a few daily longshots. bettin the horses at home kinda bores me. i need the smell of cigarettes and cigars in the air. Plus the lovely nappy headed ho tellers are fun to flirt with
