Pretty slick move I must say.

Just thought about it while looking at my fantasy football team.

How did he steal the winnings, by calling the book that was holding the funds and claim to be the winner?

He told the book to issue the winning money to himself and another person is the best that I can remember. But the real winner didnt get shit! I wasnt in that league though, but i was around when it happened
