Today is a day of celebration for Islamic terrorist all over the globe. Yesterday they won a tremendous victory with the withdrawal of John Bolton's nomination for ambassador to the United Nations. Bolton, who took the job on an interim appointment, didn't have the votes to be confirmed. Rather than risk a fight with the new Democratic Congress, President Bush pulled the nomination.
And just what kind of message does this send? The answer is simple...the message is one of weakness. The Islamic terrorists running the show in Iraq now know that they have a friend in Washington. Those friends are the Democratic party. You have to ask yourself...who benefits most from the Bolton withdrawal? The answer is simple: Iran, North Korea and Al-Qaeda. The Gargoyle is probably putting the check to Howard Dean in the mail as we speak (or maybe he'll just pay him in counterfeit American currency.)
Should we be surprised? Nope. There is a power change taking place in Washington, and appeasement is the order of the day.
John Bolton, they say, was too tough; too confrontational. That means he wasn't plaint enough when the international community came calling with their agenda to weaken America.
The United Nations is no friend of the United States. Year after year, decade after decade, the U.N. has been working on the side of half-assed third world dictators and the people like Saddam Hussein and against the best interests of its host country. Time are good if you're an Islamic terrorist, a dictator or a member of the insurgency. Our enemies now know that we are weaker. We do not even have the national courage and strength to leave a tough, no-nonsense diplomat in the U.N., an ambassador who wasn't afraid to stand up for our interests and face down Kofi Annan and his corrupt administration. .
