EOG Dedicated
for "adjusted bettors." What the hell are dual lines are what are adjusted bettors. Thanks for a response.
Is this a crock of crap or what? Just like to know cause I bet lots of dogs and don't want to take it in the ass.
But it makes no sense unless the bodog has extremely efficient software that will be able to guess what games you will most likely play and put out adjusted lines on those games..
TODAY'S SOFTWARE CAN PROFILE YOU VERY FAST..........IT'S ALMOST NOT A GUESS........
NOTHING WRONG WITH DOING IT IN MY OPINION.......JUST GET A FRIEND TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT AND TAKE THE BETTER NUMBERS.......USE IT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.......
They have done this for a long time and I still do not have a Bodog account mainly because of it.

If you can't figure out that dual lines are a good thing then you need to go read some sports betting books to get a clue.
You guys are brainwashed lemmings. I know the industry ain't run by the boy scouts but obviously the notion of "honor among theives" is unknown to the posters around here. I suppose you can exploit some angle with "dual lines" but it's a slimy practice probably appropriate for how the gambling industry has evolved or devolved depending on your point of view.
brainwashed lemmings?
look, if i'm a bookmaker, and I know I can shade the line on favorites to some square who will bitch and moan about it, then lay the extra point anyway, i'm damn sure going to do it.
If there was nothing wrong with it why don't they disclose what they are doing to the public. At the very least it is sneaky. You want to defend this practice, that doesn't surprise me, but I'm not prepared to say its ethical. You know Meyer Lansky the father of the gambling industry in this country insisted, at the threat of great physical injury, that his joints be run honestly and above board. Now the so called watchdogs of the industry, such as eog, throw in with some pretty deceptive shit.
Dual lines at Bodog? Next thing you will tell me that there is gambling at Rick's!

I am actually "shocked, shocked to learn........." about this dual line business. I never knew the practice went on but then a pick pocket doesn't announce his purpose either. Sleazy stuff, man!
I hear ya,but it is common nowadays , becasue of the sofware.

Tons of book do this. Even good ole WWTS (prior Bodog) had dual lines.
Only square shop that does not care is Sports Interaction.
its not that SIA doesnt care, its that they employ the dumbest workforce on the planet & hence seem to not care.
This is still my favorite post on the subject. I guess we're all privileged to know such a well connected and obviously enormously successful self appointed wise guy as pvcpipe.
I think my favorite post was the one where you called everyone in the thread "brainwashed lemmings." You don't have to be a wiseguy to figure dual lines can give a player an advantage. You don't have to be a sharp to take advantage of a square bettor who doesn't mind laying an extra half point on favorites. You don't have to be a wiseguy, sharp, or even that smart to realize you are a toolshed.
