Has anyone ever heard of this or used them before? I heard they were an alternative still running for a few books. The website seems weird, but if they work i will give them a try...any help would be appreciated..

They are the top gold currency processor. Transfers cannot be reversed, so the books would not have to worry about chargebacks. The only books that use them that I know of are 5 Dimes and BetRoyal.
To be honest, I would have a a problem leaving much money in e-gold due to the volatile price of gold itself. What if you had a big chunk of change deposited there and the price of gold took a plunge? You might lose 10% of your money without even wagering. The last few years gold has been trending upward vs. the US dollar, but that won't continue forever.
But just as a way to move funds around, e-gold would work. A bit harder to fund than Neteller.
