My bet limits have been cut at BetJamaica - happen to anyone else lately?

BetJamaica is one of the best books out there, but I logged on today and found out that my limits have been cut to $500 on games/halfs. I asked about it and got an e-mail back from Scotty suggesting that The Greek was more suited for me.

Has this happened to anyone else lately? Does it just seem routine?

I have heard that has happened before. Scotty will refer higher limit players to it's sister book The Greek.

Bet Jamaica is supposed to be set up more for the recreational player.

so you got the little message when you logged in? that happened to me about week 7 of the football season but i still consider them one of the safest books around and wouldnt want to lose them as an out but i was also told maybe upstairs will suit you better i said i already play upstairs LOL! but also scotty is one of the nicest guys to talk to IMO

what types of sports and lines (first half, second half, NCAA hoops, steam, service picks, etc) were you making in general at BETJAM that led to that decision to cut you down some?

what types of sports and lines (first half, second half, NCAA hoops, steam, service picks, etc) were you making in general at BETJAM that led to that decision to cut you down some?

I don't know what specifically caused them to do it. I was betting NFL, NBA, and WNBA throughout the year. Almost always sides and for the game. Mostly dime bets with some nickels here and there. I was likely on the plus side with them but not by an overwhelming amount or anything.

Usually your betting style is more than welcome...but with all that is going on they are going over everything and your account number hit a profile and they decided you should bet with Greek....

Bottom line is Shit flows downhill... Once Deposits and all that slow down then you got to Trim Fat

I am not saying that BJ is in Trouble, cause they are as stable as anyone, but the type of bettor you are at this point and time is better suited at The Greek if you want to bet those Limits

It all makes sense though and I am sure they would put it a similar way.

When it comes down to it, we all like BetJamaica. Out of all the sportsbooks out there, a week never goes by without something positive being said about BetJamaica. Maybe one week it's a great contest they have going. Another week, good compliments on fast payouts or great service. Good perks and reload bonuses offered to most players.

And in the end, for BetJamaica to keep being what we all want it to be I guess these kinds of decisions have to be made. Taking on extra risk tolerance can have its price in the end. I think I speak for everyone when I say we would not want BetJamaica to change. They are innovative and remain one step ahead of many other sportsbooks out there.

Got put on delay but no limit cut.......

Love BJ too but frustrating.

Spiro needs to close down BetJam...have Scotty run CS and Marketing at Greek and use BetJams software with a couple tweaks and he has himself a true superbook that would rival Pinnacle. IMHO

BJ has been doing this & putting people on confirmation delay (so they can move the line if they choose, which they often do) for years, nothing new. by far jamaica's worst feature.
