Ok i hate the fvcker with all my guts....But my money was on the colts..
i refused to root for this prick and as soon as i sat down at my fav blackjack table at mandalay bay (its the first single deck table as you enter the casino from the main entrance) i started ripping into the colts and the two guys who i would later watch the superbowl with totally assumed i was on the bears. For some reason none of us at the table talked about who they had for the game. I guess we all assumed our bets all around as it was obvious what we were screaming when both teams were swapping fumbles...
Anyways, one particular fumble from the colts i remember quite clearly really shocked me and the one guy who was rooting for the colts..(btw, i was rooting for the bears, yes even with my money i was rooting for the bears early on...I didnt have that much money on them because i was making a killing at bj and i was not going to give it back on the superbowl)..But there was this play where manning tried to hand the ball off to i think it was Addai or the 3rd string back...(forgot his name). Manning attempts the handoff, and the ball bounces off the Rb's chest and flops on the ground right infront of manning... Manning was looking right at the ball as it hit the turf and started to bounce around....He had a direct shot at the ball if he dived at it. He probably would have recovered....
I know most of you got caught up in the post superbowl parties or blame depending on which side you were on, but what you mostly forgot is that instead of manning diving on the ball, he actually took about 3 or 4 steps parallel to the ball in a bid to get out of the way on 5 or so bears defenders running the ball down!!!!!:doh1 :doh1 :doh1 What a friggin wuss!!!
I remember this play in particular because i pointed it out to the one colts backer at the table and he couldnt believe it either. He kept on and on about if he lost that game, he would do this and that to manning....
