I usually like the videos.


But....why do you put that ridiculous disclaimer at the front of every one? First of all, it's not true. There is no federal law against placing an online bet or any kind of bet in the US. Second, you are just advancing the DOJ's war of intimidation.

Here's an idea. Say nothing. And in the extremely remote chance you get charged for your news videos, you will have a platform to fight for not just online gambling but free speech.

You are in cyberspace. You are not responsible for various ISP's allowing people to see your vid. If Washington state has such a problem then they can criminally charge all ISP's that operate in the state.

If you are going to take a stand, might as well go the full boat...

I'd have to agree, being from BC just north in Canada the Native Indians of Washington st. are the ones deadset against having online gambling. They own so many casino's in that state its not funny.

So why, if you must have it, doesn't it say, illegal in "Washington state" instead of "the United States?"

JC, I don't think we assist the DOJ in anyway. And yes jail was an option.

Joe, We had no choice but to acknowledge it. We were targeted by Washington state and we were not in a position for a costly legal battle. We spoke with several first amendment attorneys and the ACLU. No one would support an industry that they felt could "defend itself". And the casinos sure as shit wouldn't help. So... we have a little disclaimer. If JTodd's wife wasn't 9 months pregnant at the time I am sure he would have gotten himself arrested, but then you wouldn't have these videos to entertain you each week!

We are fighting hard for our rights with very limited resources, we don't charge players or webmasters for membership, we just ask them sign up so we can use our membership numbers to pressure our law makers. Still, we have to beg people to actually do something. I appreciate the feedback and we are always open to suggestions on how to work together to beat this unjust law. Anyone fighting for online gambling we are willing to work with, we do have strength in numbers.
