SPORTSBOOK.COM/The Math!

Hello, I am a long time lurker and feel compelled to post here because there are literally 100,000+ people who are and/or will be affected by the apparent fruad being perpetrated by Spoortsbook.com.

Let's review the chain of events leading to the present dilemna: December 2006; SPORTINGBET, a public company listed on the London Stock Exchange decides to exit the US gambling market and sells it US facing operations to a private group (read key employees of the then present operation) for ONE US DOLLAR. SPORTINGBET had previously purchased Paradise Poker in 2005 for an amount in excess of $200 million.

So the NEW Sportsbook.com consisted of all the US facing sportsbooks that SPORTINGBET owned plus the customer list for Paradise Poker. Paradise Poker had in excess of 5 million customers of which 65% were US customers. so there were approximately 3 million names. This is where the confusion come in; you people who have posted are WRONG. You and everybody else has had an account with the new operation for a few months at best.

Upon completion of the sale to the new group of customers, cash vouchers were sent via E and snail mail to ALL US customers of Paradise Poker and the old sportsbook.com. These vouchers were worth at least $20 and in some cases as much as $250. If just half of these vouchers were cashed in, I estimate a value of $50 MILLION+, add in the excessive amount of advertising costs, the 100% poker deposit bonuses and the poker freerolls, I further estimate that this company is $100 million in the hole from jump street.

It was very convenient for this company to hide behind the payment processor issue as the excuse for non-payment. But as many have pointed out where there is a will there is a way for people to be paid.

In conclusion, this company is totally INSOLVENT and the likelihood of ANYONE getting paid is SLIM and NONE. What will probably happen is the lists of the current operation will be sold to yet another new book or an existing book and ample bonuses will be awarded for continued play.

It is nothing less than criminal for EOG and RX to continue to promote new deposits to this organization. There latest actions of cancelling withdrawal requets and then telling us to re-submit and then wait another 10 business days for our money is an obvious stall and on top of that that another million or so has been created in additional bonuses. This is an obvious PONZI scheme gone south.

Welcome to eog Mad.

If they pay their advertising bill, they have every right to advertise here. One thing about eog, anyone can say anything about a sportsbook or advertiser here without fear of retribution. This site will not put you on post review or delete threads regarding one of the advertisers. To say that acceptong advertising dollars from them is criminal is laughable.

Re: SPORTSBOOK.COM/The Math!

I WANT TO ASK JUST ONE QUESTION???? HAS ANY1 HERE TRIED THEIR SUPPOSED NEW BANK WIRE WITHDRAWL OPTION AND RECEIVED THE MONEY?

Re: SPORTSBOOK.COM/The Math!

And all Vouchers sent out will have had a Rollover to it... therefore making the Cash Value way less than the amount given away

NICK THIS IS FINE IF THEY PAY EOG THEIR AD BILL... THEY SHOULD AS NOTHING IS FOR FREE...BUT IF THEY DONT PAY PEOPLE OR EOG POSTERS FOR OVER A MONTH THEN WHAT GOOD DOES THAT DO FOR THE PLAYERS? ITS NOT EOGS FAULT THAT SPORTSBOOK.COM HASNT PAID PEOPLE.. WHAT I SEE WRONG IS THAT SPORTSBOOK.COM KEEPS TAKING NEW DEPOSITS WITHOUT PAYING ANYONE..UNLESS SOMEONE POSTS THAT THEY HAVE BEEN PAID BY THEM.. THEN IN HENCE...THEY DO US NO GOOD..

HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WILL COME FORWARD WITH AN ANSWER TO MY FIRST QUESTION... :cheers

Re: SPORTSBOOK.COM/The Math!

No one has been paid since 2/17/06. I was on the poker site last night at fairly high limits 15-30 limit holdem and 5-10 NL. When inquiring if anyone at the table knew about the present situation, I received one answer,..." I've had an account with them for over 5 years, they're slow but they pay..." this is where the confusion comes in the old sportsbook.com, paid but was slow as per SBR. The new sportbook.com is not paying anyone. I re-submitted my withdrawal as requested, it takes a mili-second to be paid by bank wire once initiated.

The vouchers that were sent out had NO ROLLOVER requirement. They were free cash as was the 5% added to everyone's account that had previously requested a cashout the previous 30 days. I knew I would get people defending this operation It is a clear fraud.

PIPE, I guess I see this site different than others do. I mean I like and respect General and Shrink and all the Mods here, but if I am going to invest my money somewhere I am going to do my own research. I will not put my money somewhere just because they are an advertiser on a certain gambling forum. There are sportsbooks that are mentioned here that you hear nothing but good things about (BetJam and Greek come to mind). If you do enough research, you will minimize the slow pay situations. Too many people base their sportsbook decisions on bonuses offered and not payment history.

Re: SPORTSBOOK.COM/The Math!
