imo:

solo: Pac
group: Outkast/goodie mob

i can understand pac, but i cant put anyone with wu-tang. they've done so many individual cds that were amazing. wu-tang memebers, overall, have produced much better shit than anyone else. imo.

goodie mob is a decent bit down my list.

you are correct about wu tang's overall contribution solo and as a group...really just a personal preference to outkast and goodie mob, even though goodie mobs last album was garbage

A good buddy and me were talking about this a few days ago. Does Swizz Beats ever rap on his stuff or is it always other rappers on his beats? I could have sworn he had the mic on a few of them but my buddy said no...

Nothin wrong with Bone Thugz. There are only two or three Wu Tang songs I like anyway. Many more Bone ones. Wu Tang has had some good solo albums but on the ones actually entitled "Wu Tang", there hasn't been a ton to like other than a few.

Re: Tupac featuring Elton John - Ghetto Gospel

Anyone hear listen to any underground stuff? Sage Francis, Eyedea, Swollen Members, Sweatshop Union, Styles of Beyond?

36 chambers and wu-tang forever are both better than anything bone has ever done.

listen to the song, 'heaterz', off wu-tang forever. better than anything ever done by bone. imo.

I have nothing against Wu Tang, just prefer the machine gun style of Bone. RZA is one of my favorites. Bone just works better as a group IMO. Game is my favorite mainstream guy right now. Dungeon Family put out some good stuff as a group as well.

not real surprised that Elton was able to blend with Tupac music......No matter your feelings on his sexual orientation, its hard to dispute that Elton John is a musical legend, and he can blend into any type music....one of the best live performances i ever saw was the night he sang on stage with Eminem and did "Stan".....that was awesome...he has combined with R&B legends, and never misses a beat.......

Elton is a true legend, and Tupac was a genius at "his craft" so the 2 together should not dissappoint...

people were scared of wu-tang. once i found out one of the guys in bone was gay, it kinda made me forget that i ever listened to them. be it close minded or not, its reality.
wu-tang is just hard, i just used to get hyped before games and all listening to them. i listen to them at the gym and shit.

the gza is my favorite. ugod has a sic voice. meth, raewkon, and ghost have put out amazing cds.

i think game is a clown. i know people like him, i do not. i listen to 2 pac, wu, big, nas, styles p, and mos def more than anyone else.

yeah you can extend the family to cappadona, arabian knight, black market militia (with killah priest), killarmy, sunz of man and a lot of guys/groups.

a lot of people loved ODB, wu-tang is unreal imo.

Re: Tupac featuring Elton John - Ghetto Gospel

Game may be an attention whore and his name dropping in songs is legendary but the music he puts out is still better than anything I've heard for along while on TV and radio.

Nas is another great. I like the song he did with his pops.

Title: Never Again

(hebrew man praying)

Intro:
Feel this
To all those races, colors, and creeds, every man bleeds
For the countless victims and all their families
Of the murdered, tortured and slaved, raped,
Robbed and persecuted - never again!
To the men, women, and children
Who died and struggled to live, never to be forgotten

(hebrew man praying)

Verse 1:
Yo my own blood
Dragged through the mud
Perished in my heart still cherished and loved
Stripped of our pride, everything we lived for
Families cried
There’s no where to run to, no where to hide
Tossed to the side
Access denied
6 million died for what?
Yo a man shot dead in his back
Helpless women and children on the constant attack
For no reason
Till the next season
And we still bleeding
Yo it's freezing
And men burn in hell, some for squeezing
No hope for a remedy, nothing to believe
Moving targets who walk with the star in their sleeve
Forever marked wit a number, tattooed to your body
Late night, eyes closed, clutched to my shotty
Having visions, flashes of death camps and prisons no provisions
Deceived by the devils decisions
Forced into a slave
Death before dishonor for those men who were brave
Shot and sent to their grave
Can't awaken, it's too late
Everything's been taken
I'm shaken, family, history, the making

Chorus:
Never again shall we march like sheep to the slaughter
Never again shall we sit and take orders
Stripped of our culture
Robbed of our name (never again)
Raped of our freedom and thrown into the flames (never again)
Forced from our families, taken from our homes
Moved from our god then burned of our bones
Never again, never again
Shall we march like sheep to the slaughter (never again)
Leave our sons and daughters
Stripped of our culture
Robbed of our name (never again)
Raped of our freedom and thrown into the flames (never again)
Forced from our families, taken from our homes
Moved from our god and everything we own
(never again)

Verse 2:
Some fled through the rumors of wars
But most left were dead, few escaped to the shores
With just 1 loaf of bread
Banished, hold in for questioning
And vanished
Never to be seen again
I can't express the pain
That was felt on the train
To auscwitz, tears poured down like rain
Naked face to face
With the master race
Hatred blood of david
My heart belongs to god and stay sacred
Rabbi's and priests
Disabled individuals
The poor, the scholars all labeled common criminals
Mass extermination
Total annihilation
Shipped into the ghetto and prepared for liquidation
Tortured and starved
Innocent experiments
Stripped down and carved up or gassed to death
The last hour, i smelled the flowers
Flashbacks of family then sent to the showers
Powerless undressed
Women with babies clumped tight to their chest
Crying
Who would've guessed dying
Another life lost
Count the cost
Another body gas burned and tossed in the holocaust (never again)

Chorus:
Never again shall we march like sheep to the slaughter
Never again leave our sons and daughter
Stripped of our culture
Robbed of our name (never again)
Raped of our freedom and thrown into the flames (never again)
Forced from our families, taken from our homes(never again)
Moved from own god and everything we owned
Never again, never again
Shall we march like sheep to the slaughter (never again)
Shall we sit and take orders
Stripped of our culture
Robbed of our name (never again)
Raped of our freedom and thrown into the flames (never again)
Forced from our families, taken from our homes (never again)
Moved from our god and burned of our bones
(never again) (never again)

Never again
Never again
The final solution
Is now retribition
Remedy, wu-tang

wu-tang is on another level. some people just dont know how much they are linked to.
