In my first life, I was in the Army. Over 23 years ago, our unit participated in Operation Urgent Fury and received an injury that basically left me blind in my left eye. Over time, I got real used to operating with one eye, in which I still had perfect vision. In a couple of weeks, I'll be going in for a third and hopefully final procedure that, if successful, will restore the vision in my bad eye to almost 100%. Ain't technology great ? Wish me luck.
