Lawrence, I can't really agree with you that Serena "looks to be in great form." In the Peer match, she was clearly having physical problems, played raggedly, and complained to her father during the on-court coaching that her knee (on which she had had surgery) was bothering her. When asked about the knee later, she pooh-poohed it, but there is a question mark surrounding Serena's health. If Serena shows up completely healthy--which is certainly a possibility--I think that her best beats Henin's best, but that's the big uncertainty. The line on Henin at 5 Dimes got as high as +150 earlier, but as the match approaches, it's been dropping, as more money goes on her. As I write this, it's +134. I took Henin this morning at +145. Should be an interesting match.

seems 50/50, so the + money looks good, especially if the kinee is really an issue...but Henin is weak mentally, totally opposite of Serena

you're probably right Jeff, as i switched off of Justine, and played Serena.......i kept looking at how she has dominated the competition the past matches, and she has won this title 3 times......just felt maybe she was "on" this time....but you will prob be right, and she will be injured or not able to play to 100% and get squashed......I wish Venus would get back in shape, i always had much better luck capping her matches, than her sisters...

To be honest, Buc, I never feel good about betting against Serena--it's a bit like pulling on Superman's cape. Just felt the need to do it this time. But who the hell knows? :) I bet on Djokovic yesterday, but I never would have predicted the level of the massacre!:+clueless

Well now that i hear that about the knee, i wish i had stayed , belive me....if it was anormal vig game, i might buy back, but the odds on tennis are too high, i would be guaranteed a loss unless i bought back real big, in which case Serena would pounce...so im gonna ride it out....

did not know Justine Henin is getting a divorce, and has dropped the Hardenne from the name...she's not a looker, but damn $14 million in Career winnings (not counting endorsements etc..) I may have had to find a way to "work it out" with her

Henin 6-0. Serena's not healthy. Her serve is way off its normal speed, and her movement is not up to par. If Serena manages to pull this match out, it'll be on guts, because she's not at 100%.... and shame on CBS for not showing this in HD!

Hope so....thought Serena was dead in the water when she was broke at 4-4, and down 40-15....but she fought back, and now she won a game at love on her serve, which is a miracle today....

Winky, i gotta disagree with you on this one...Henin has been known for years for her meltdowns on the courts, double faulting at key points, etc...

She is physically tough, and one of the best players in the world, but her mental game, is certainly her weakness..

Wow, what a bummer loss! At 6-0, 5-4, 40-5, I was already counting my money. Serena is one tough customer.... It'll be a long time before Henin forgets that loss....
