Requesting a payout from Oddsmaker.com

I will let you know how it goes. The customer service has been excellent. I am trying to get feedback to people looking for books to use. I'm not concerned with bonuses and crap like that just winning and books that pay........:cocktail

to be continued

Re: Requesting a payout from Oddsmaker.com

I wish I could request a payout from Oddsmaker.com but I've lost every bet placed with them so far. Maybe that's why I got offered the VIP program?

Re: Requesting a payout from Oddsmaker.com

No offense but Shouldnt you have already checked them out before you took them on as an advertiser for a watch dog site? ..

Dude,

No offense taken but I posted several times that I checked these guys out TWICE before and their main guy has deep pockets..

Maybe if you did a "search" first or read some of my threads about them, you would have seen this before making your response...

But even after checking out their operation, main guys and facilities, it's always nice to hear feedback...

There are those that feel more comfortable hearing first hand about multiple other posters personal experiences regarding the issue of investing in some of the books. While it is nice to have an opinion from the "authorities", some also like to hear from peers and then at that point make a more informed decision once received info from a collection of multiple sources who have different views and interests, rather than just a selective few. Over time you learn who to trust on the message boards. No offence, but The Shrink is certainly not one of them...

Re: Requesting a payout from Oddsmaker.com

LOL this place is a joke. First of all, their customer service is awful. I received the physical mailpiece today, and simply had a few questions for the company. I saw THE SHRINK's insert in the mailpiece, in which he vouches for the company. I was connected to an "Anne" in a chat session 4 times, without ever receiving a response from her. Thankfully, I was FINALLY connected to this "Kenneryn" fella, who seems to be a real sharp fella. One of the first things he said was "we are legit." Haha, who are these people kidding? Below is the chat log:
<SCRIPT type=text/javascript>function scrollwindow(){ if ((navigator.appName.indexOf("Netscape") < 0) || (parseInt(navigator.appVersion)>4)) scroll(0, 50000); if (navigator.appName.indexOf("Netscape") >= 0) scroll(0, 50000);}</SCRIPT><NOSCRIPT></NOSCRIPT><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=chatContent dir=ltr> Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Kenneryn'
brett: Hello?
Kenneryn: Welcome to Customer Service. How may I help you today?
brett: Well, first off, you should wake up Anne.
Kenneryn: why?
brett: Because my last 4 chat sessions have been with her and she simply never responds
brett: I don't know if you are in the same location as her, but it was pretty ridiculous
brett: But anyways, I have a few questions regarding the free $100.
Kenneryn: What?
brett: Are you at the same location as Anne?
Kenneryn: We are here located here in the Philippines.
Kenneryn: Everything is located here in the Philippines we are licensed here and legit as well.
brett: That wasn't what I asked, but whatever, regarding the free $100, are you sayingt hat the only way to cash out this free money is if you get your account to $1500?
Kenneryn: yes!
brett: And you have to make a deposit in order to cash this out?
Kenneryn: You CANNOT make a deposit unless you lost the Free $100 or your collecting the promotion in a form of a check.
brett: So you can obtain the free $100, get your account to $1500 and simply cash out, without ever making a deposit?
Kenneryn: yes!
brett: That promotion is a joke.
Kenneryn: Of course not
Kenneryn: we have a lot of customers who have cash out already!
Kenneryn: Would there be anything else that I can help you with?
brett: Yes, why do all of the sportsbook watchdog groups give oddsmaker.com such low grades? Every grade I see is either a D or an F.
Kenneryn: oh really don't believe you sorry.
Kenneryn: we have been in the business for 9 years already.
Kenneryn: Do you only contact us to give us headaches here we do have a lot of valuable customers to take care to.
brett: Haha, not at all, YOU contacted ME today via regular mail Sir, I am simply tryingt o find out if your site is legitimate, alot of these sites are bogus whether you'd like to admit it or not.
Kenneryn: We are not a bogus site so don't include us on the list of bogus site.
Kenneryn: like what I've told you we have 'been in the business for 9 years already and we are licensed and legit here in the PHILIPPINES!
brett: If I receive a piece of mail from oddsmaker.com, I have a right to find out if I would like to do business with them, deal with it.
Kenneryn: of course.
Kenneryn: Would there be anything else that I can help you with?
brett: And you have made my decision quite easy, you are very unprofessional, at least you are awake though, did you wake Anne up yet?
Kenneryn: You know actually Anne is not sleeping you just don't know that 1 representative here accomodates 7 chats and a call ALL at the same time that's the reason we cannot give immediate attention to everyone!
brett: Sounds like an efficient operation. Looks like it works out well.
Kenneryn: Unprofessional? I was just answering the questions you are throwing you are trying to insult us and our company no one will treat you right with your kind of attitude.
Kenneryn: I'm sorry but i think i need to end this chat now with you!
Chat session has been terminated by the site operator.

LOL @ first time poster. Sorry, I frequent more bona fide gambling forums. This is simply the thread that came up when I googled oddsmaker.com.

LMAO...forgot about that show..:houra:houra:houra

I wish Holly Robinson could have been a NARC in my high school.

And I thought Pinhole carried that show compared to Johnny Depp.

Never said "rude". The word I used was "unprofessional". If oddmaker.com is going to target English speaking clientele, it would be a good idea to hire people in their customer service department who know how to speak and type English.

Well that can apply to almost all books. Youp do know that most books are located in Countries were English is the 2nd language right?

I don't consider being fluent in English a prerequisite for being "professional." Some of THE MOST PROFESSIONAL people I have met in this industry do not speak fluent English, but they understand how to treat people with respect and dignity...

Re: Requesting a payout from Oddsmaker.com

I thought the Phillipines was an English speaking nation. :+clueless

But really, all I'm saying is my initial contact with oddsmaker.com was a complete joke, and it sucks that there are "industry insiders" who are vouching for a company that is universally given horrible grades and poor reviews. Some people will open the letter I received today, see the insert with "The Shrink", and think that this is a good place to wager. It's a real shame. The gaming industry, for the most part, is in complete disarray right now, and people are being had.

It's ok to criticize a style or a personality, but to suggest this place isn't paying or is shady is wrong...

Please name me ONE PERSON, just ONE, who hasn't been paid by ODDSMAKER after requesting a payout??????

Thanks,
Ken

Re: Requesting a payout from Oddsmaker.com

Shrink, I can only make judgements from what I've encountered personally and from what I've read on the various gambling forums I've seen. I never once said they aren't paying. I've only read it, some of which can be found in the links below. Do I think the company is shady? Absolutely. I have a right to my opinion. Anyway, let me ask you this, since you so eloquently vouch for this company, why is there all this bad press surrounding the company? Why does it receive bad grades from gaming ranking websites?
