Most overrated offense in all of baseball...

Been saying it about my team for years, and the #'s continue to support it.

In the last 3 years (before 2005), looking at Runs-Created per 27 outs on the road (to remove any kind of park effect that may skew the #'s) in the American League:

Worst is Kansas City (average 4.476 RC27 on the road)
Second worst is Tampa Bay (average 4.523 RC27 on the road)

Can you guess who the third worst is? May surprise some people.

(st.louis) Whenever I Bet Them They Score 2 Runs And Leave 12 Men On Base They Have Absolutly Killed Me This Year I Wont Even Bet There Totals Anymore.this Must Be The Most Overrated Offense In Baseball History.

I left out the NL because its not a fair comparison with RC27 from AL to NL due to the pitcher batting (and thus probably 3 of those 27 outs aren't due to a "true hitter").

Not Baltimore. Not Anaheim.

The Texas Rangers are now *officially* the worst hitting team for average over the last 7 years away from home.
