Do they really think people will pay to read anything of value there? My goodness half the articles right now that aren't news wire reports require you to be an insider. They seem to think they became the Wall Street Journal or something...

espn has been a waste for a long time. i never read anything more than a headline there. they arent exactly talent-rich.

ESPN took sports reporting from five minutes on the local news to 24/7 availability. Sports fans owe them "thanks" not shallow critiques.

I am not paying them to read about how my team is doing or other top stories. Foxsports, yahoo, cbssportsline...tons of site have exactly what they have.
