Any baseball card collectors out there

I have several hundred cards - most from the 80's and 90's
and I am looking to unload them.
Is there a good place to go and get a fair price for them?

You can use ebay, but won't get much for them. Any rookies, stars in excellent condition?

Really have no idea, lots of Topps and some Fleer Donruss along
with a Bowman box set. Never did track who or what I had.
I have around 700 cards. I know the value is in who I have.
I just would have to take the time to catalog them.

Re: Any baseball card collectors out there

There are some good websites with forums where you can get knowledgeable answers from collectors. Two I can think of are PSAcard.com and Beckett.com

Like others have said, it probably isn't likely you have any gems since there aren't many from the mass-production era of the late 80s/early 90s. Still, there are possibilities. Good luck!!

Thanks King
I figured they aren't worth much. Am just hoping I might get a Franklin
or two for them.
It just reminds me that I had a couple of thousand cards from the
60's and 70's that I lost when our house burned down in 79.
I would love to have those old Hank Aaron and Willie Mays along
with all the others I had.

Re: Any baseball card collectors out there

I have about 40k cards in my collection. I used to buy/sell cards at shows during my highschool years. I haven't even looked at the cards in nearly 5 years as I was thinking about saving them for my children. I did get about 10 of my best cards graded (2-Jordan, Reggie Jackson, Nolan Ryan, and a few other rookie cards)... I used to watch prices closely on Beckett and Ebay and other sites but stopped doing that a long time ago as well. What have the selling/buying trends been lately?:+clueless

Cards from the 80's and 90's are for the most part worthless. Do a search on e-bay and you will see what I mean.

Re: Any baseball card collectors out there

I have a few good cards. Best one is probably Cal Ripken's rookie "Baltimore Orioles Future Stars" card.

Re: Any baseball card collectors out there

Seeing as how they are 80's and 90's, prolly not worth a thing bro.

Re: Any baseball card collectors out there

I have a 1951 Mickey Mantle from the Bowman set that I found in a cigar box at my grandmother's house years ago.
