There's a difference between expressing one's opinion for discussion and excessive personal attacks. I've never been to the political forum, but if Doc's conduct is chasing away other members, that isn't very constructive for anyone. I say 3 strikes (warnings) and you're out! I voted NO.

i personaly dont give a hoot, but then again i have not been chased all over the forum by doc so my opinion is just that an opinion. i say let him stay if he wants but i will respect the decision of those people who have been chased if they dont want him anymore.
as far as comparing him to BTJ i would say that yes BTJ does have some very questionable opinions but he doesnt blast the whole forum with them. he says his piece and thats it, doc is way over the top with the amount of posts and i think that alone creates enough of a differece between the 2.

janus - thank you, my friend. that means a lot. he only bashes me cause it kills him when I disagree with him and call him out on it. unfortunately, instead of addressing the merits of the argument, he decides to personally attack.

in any case,

docmercer+politics forum=trash

all other posters+politics forum - docmercer = great forum

The garbage posts by DOCMERCER will be made up for with many posts from others...

roach and AA, while there may be some attempted humor by BTJ, his posts are completely offensive. The difference between BTJ and Doc is that while Doc singles out a person, BTJ takes on an entire race at a time. While his comments may or may not be satirical, they are still offensive nontheless.

especially when they usually called him that first.

the posts from doc weren't usually liberal or democratic, they were from places like prisonplanet that are libertarian. like me AGAINST BOTH CORRUPT PARTIES.

This is idiotic. The mods are asking for our vote, our opinion. I don't see anything cowardly about that. We aren't voting on criminal activity, i.e. stealing money from a sportsbook, so the analogy you use is inapplicable. In MY opinion, there is no right or wrong answer. I voted no, but the other posters who voted yes have valid points also. I still voted no. The only part of your post that makes any sense is "you do not need a majority of posters to tell you what you should do." I'm sure the mods thank you for your approval.
