Great spot to take the Raptors here for a few reasons, first they will be EXTREMELY motivated and focused considering their looking to snap a three game losing streak.
secondly, the spread here is awesome they played the 76ers barely 10 days ago and were 7pt favs @ home, now their dogs???? I'd like to add they were ahead 22 points late in the third quarter in that one. 8 point difference for home court?? Value?? Let's also consider the Raptors have won three in a row @ the Wachovia Center.
This Raptors team almost beat the Celtics, so no doubt they are solid. 76ers are a below average team, other than Andre Iguodala they don't really have anybody. They'll be lucky to win 35 games this season with the lineup they have.

An 8 point swing from one home site to another really isn't out of line. That's standard home court value, similar to evenly matched teams and the home team is a 4 point favorite, regardless of who is at home.
I'm not questioning the pick. I remember that season opener and how lopsided it was. I played the over, which was never in doubt. Toronto blew a huge lead then settled down and managed to cover.
