Compared to the competition.

PROS.

I think there are more intellagent posters over here than the norm.

I like the fact that you can pretty much say what you want to say without getting put on post review or getting banned.

I like the moderating staff over here. You dont see constant shilling that makes you sick to your stomach like you see at other places.

CONS.

Traffic is not quite has high as some of the other places with more years in business. Although this is something that will not be an issue over time.
Although a few places have more traffic, they also have more lower quality posters that you have to weed through.

What is your PROS and CONS?

Dislike = NO "PM" function - gave up on this losing battle some time ago - mostly because the reasons we don't have it are too pathetic and weak to even start discussing

Likes....can bs about sports over a cup of coffee and not have to leave the house to do it. also like that EOG has provided the opportunity and info for me to learn about sports betting. plus I have got to meet a few fine folks and looking to meet more.


dislikes.......the rx refugee boat lift but it has passed so i really have nothing to bitch about.....damn it.

The largest dislike is the no chat room feature that many other site's have. I realize this would cut down on posts/traffic but thing it would still be worth having.

The thing I enjoy the most here is the ability to post without having to look over your shoulder. Meaning, the owner and staff allow people to voice their opinions/facts without being put on review or given a vacation.

pros = pretty decent guys
cons = I would like to see Shrink give out his plays more frequently. For a guy with all his connections and ability he doesn't give out very much.

Cons

  • Man Drama
  • Posters who think they are above the rest of the forum and bigger than the forum
  • Attention Whores
  • Business Decisions made in the interest of traffic for advertising revenues and not what is best for the forum (although there is a good chance I am talking out of my ass with this last one)

Like the vibe at EOG over other boards

Just wish EOG had more sub-forums like boxing/MMA, finance, workout, etc. so those who are interested can post w/o annoying other posters by cluttering the main forum

  • I would be here twice as much if the COLORS (or fonts..etc.)were simply changed. For some reason it's just not as inviting for some reason. As dumb as that sounds, the colors are less inviting than elsewhere.

I can actually understand what 5 team is saying.. Hate to say it but across the street has better more inviting colors and software..
