ANYBODY HAVE AN ARGUMENT WHY THERE IS NOT A DEC/JAN MADNESS?

Take the top 16 teams, let them play in the stadiums or bowls, which nobody cares about anymore anyhow, and let them play until there is a true national champion. Can anybody present an argument against this? Let the championship game be rotated every year among the major 'bowls'. I believe it would surpass the basketball march madness forthwith.

It's out of control .

25-30 years ago you had a real good idea who the top 1-2-3 teams were...now teams ranked #2 end up out of the top 20 on some cases.

Playing the game 50 days later is a whole nother major issue.

AGREE WITH YOU HERE ZZ.......MONEY IS THE PROBLEM TO A LOT OF THE LESSER SCHOOLS WHO GET GOOD MONEY FROM THE SMALLER BOWLS.......

MAYBE THEY NEED SOME KIND OF REVENUE SHARING AMONGST THE SCHOOLS........

There's no reason they couldn't let the rest of the teams shutout from the tourney play in their own bowl games or better yet, add a fifth week to the tournament and let 32 schools compete.

We hear the same thing every year and nothing will ever happen to much $$$$$$ involved at best we might get the plus one system when the current BCS contract ends with FOX.

Maybe our great grand children will be around when they finally have a college football playoff not in our lifetime
