He just got five days room, food, and beverage comped in beautiful Las Vegas. He must be racking up some real points on his Clark County Detention Center Player's Card.

OK, on the subject of comps...

The saying here is that "everything is Las Vegas is free, you just can't afford it."

Sure, you can still get comps. But they ain't given you comps because they like you. You have to spend money, and a lot of it. Sportsbooks are among the most stingy. You want comps? That's what we have 20% vig racebooks for.

Anybody who drives down the north end of the Strip today must be reminded of the Judy Collin's song. "They Paved Paradise, and Put Up A Parking Lot."

Yeah, they put a parking lot all right, with the Palazzo, Encore, and Echelon Place right beside them.

They ain't looking anymore to give Murray and Sheila from White Plains a free breakfast comp.

The days of the Stardust and Westward Ho seem to have vanished.

interesting thread, you have gotten me hooked because i am going out in may and i wouldn't mind a comp or two.
