Didn't gamble until I stumbled upon the A&E section here at EOG. Then one thing lead to another and I got hooked on betting.

For me it was to make the games feel important still.
When I was a kid, they all mattered, having money on them gave me that same feeling.

I am at stage where I am trying to better annual returns and apply the knowledge I have obtained to a greater level than the past. I am really trying to learn as much as possible to make extra money while enjoying my favorite hobby.

I used to play a lot of games on feels or BS stats. I don't want to do that anymore. I try and Only play games where I feel or KNOW that I do have an edge in some way.

I started gambling because the shrink really created the internet, not Al Gore. He is good guy and I'm wanted to see him get very rich.

I find it a thrill to find positive expectation situations and exploit them. Challenge to find new angles, love numbers and physically seeing and contemplating numbers, the money angle adds a bunch to the thrill, it faster paced than invetsing long term which also has lots of numbers and factors, its a bit of being involved in a dark secret risky hobby that adds to the mysti...OK maybe there is a bit of an addiction to all of this.

A form of entertainment that one can also make a hobby as well as a side income.
You go to a movie to kill 2 hours... That money you spend on the ticket is gone.
You take that same 2 hours and make a bet on a game, you are just as entertained and at the end of the day you might have actually made some money.
I don't watch a whole lot of regular television, so instead of watching LOST or DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, I'm watching sports.
A form of entertainment that one can also make a hobby as well as a side income.

I only wager on plays I think will win. I am no longer an action Jackson and have been that way for awhile. I do look at games most everyday but I do not gamble everyday anymore. Agree with you here 100% SoS. Gambling is a great form on entertainment, but it is also a profitable venture. If it was not profitable for me I am sure I could find something else to do then spend 8+ hours a day on a computer. It is also nice though as multi-tasking on a computer is very easy, especially with multiple monitors. At the same time you could be talking to friends on messenger, watching a movie, watching the line changes, placing bets, sending emails, etc.

The Munchkin Man never grew up with parents, childhood friends, adolescent friends, or even young adult friends, who were ever into gambling.
Later on, during the Munchkin Man's middle adulthood years, the Munchkin Man had a roommate who was into gambling.
He didn't teach the Munchkin Man how to gamble either.
That wasn't his fault.
The truth of the matter is that the Munchkin Man never took the time to ask him how.
The Munchkin Man was too busy with his Checker games instead.
The Munchkin Man had a golden opportunity to be taught by one of the greatest gambling minds in history.
To be honest, the Munchkin Man wasn't interested at the time.
The Munchkin Man's primary interest at the time was trying to win the World Mail Play Checker Championship Title.
It took the Munchkin Man over ten years of his life to even qualify for the opportunity to compete for this coveted title.
And when that opportunity came..............
The Munchkin Man got his ass whipped.
Big time.
The Munchkin Man's very worthy opponent was at least 30 years his senior and had written dozens of books.
The Munchkin Man was just a young snot nosed punk and upstart.
As it turned out, the Munchkin Man got the beating of his life.
There is one person here who knows firsthand about the severity of the beating the Munchkin Man took and the impact it had upon the Munchkin Man's life.
He even predicted it.
"You're going to lose!", he used to tell the Munchkin Man.
This was not the sort of the thing the Munchkin Man wanted to hear.
He never said this to be mean.
He was just trying to give the Munchkin Man a reality check and a dose of the wisdom which has made him into the success he is today.
