It would be a great bump for the entire Big Ten. Bob Knight's return would be soooooooo HUGE that PLAYERS would commit. Indiana would become a quick powerhouse IMO. It would be a great deal. A 5 Year contract. The goal is to get this school back on track and it would sell sooooo many tickets in arena(S) on Coach Knight's return. It would bring back a tremendous sector of former Indiana/Big Ten fans. You got to put the Ego's aside both parties and do it. This is a SUPER money maker and the fans would LOVE IT! Coach Knight represents and could help in his demands for Integrity and the respect for all that is good in the game of college basketball.

Hypothetically talking of course, just good discussion.

A lot of the good things could be done at a rumor of LSU also. Coach Knight would make the entire SEC a better conference immediately and draw VERY GOOD recruits. Right now he is the attention of college basketball. The kids and their parents will see that, too.

There is no reason Indiana and Coach cannot swallow some pride and make it right.

ANS INDIANA MAY NOT WIN A TITLE, BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT. OH THEY WOULD WIN GAMES. AND A LOT OF GAMES IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS.

It would be a trip if it did, but it won't happen with McRobbie as a President. This guy was brought in by Brand a few years ago and is a total stooge for Brand.

There will be a new coach b/c Sampson is basically gone in 7 days judging by McRobbie's presser today. He hadn't even spoken to him.

I do think if there is a new hire, it will be someone with Indiana roots or ties.
