Not a shocker. I hate every United States politicans and until there is a major civil war in this country, things will not change. all of these guys do shit that they want to put everyone else away for. Hopefully he gets tortured and then beheaded. Not because of this supposed crime, just because because he is like an attorney. They think they can threaten the world but when someone does it to them, it is a huge crime.

Spitzer was scheduled to make an announcement Monday afternoon. Spitzer officials wouldn't immediately comment on the story.
Spitzer is a first-term Democrat and former state attorney general. He is married with three children.

But last week, federal prosecutors in Manhattan filed conspiracy charges against four people accusing them of running a prostitution ring that charged wealthy clients in Europe and the U.S. thousands of dollars for prostitutes.
The Web site of the Emperors Club VIP displays photographs of the prostitutes' bodies, with their faces hidden, along with hourly rates depending on whether the prostitutes were rated with one diamond, the lowest ranking, or seven diamonds, the highest. The most highly ranked prostitutes cost $5,500 an hour, prosecutors said.
The Times reported that a person with knowledge of Spitzer's role believes the governor is one of the men identified as clients in court papers.
The case is being handled by prosecutors in the Public Corruption unit of U.S. Attorney Michael Garcia's office. Garcia spokeswoman Yusill Scribner said the office had no comment.
Spitzer has built his political legacy on rooting out corruption, including several headline-making battles with Wall Street while serving as attorney general. He stormed into the governor's office in 2006 with a historic share of the vote, vowing to continue his no-nonsense approach to fixing one of the nation's worst governments.
Time magazine had named him "Crusader of the Year" when he was attorney general and the tabloids proclaimed him "Eliot Ness."
But his stint as governor has been marred by several problems, including an unpopular plan to grant driver's licenses to illegal immigrants and a plot by his aides to smear Spitzer's main Republican nemesis.
Spitzer had been expected to testify to the state Public Integrity Commission he had created to answer for his role in the scandal, in which his aides are accused of misusing state police to compile travel records to embarrass Senate Republican leader Joseph Bruno.
Spitzer had served two terms as attorney general where he pursued criminal and civil cases and cracked down on misconduct and conflicts of interests on Wall Street and in corporate America. He had previously been a prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, handling organized crime and white-collar crime cases.
His cases as state attorney general included a few criminal prosecutions of prostitution rings and into tourism involving prostitutes.
In 2004, he was part of an investigation of an escort service in New York City that resulted in the arrest of 18 people on charges of promoting prostitution and related charges.

Like I said he was not picking $20 an hour crack addicts from the street for sex. The man has class and went for the top of the line at $5500 an hour. It might have been a gift to him from his wife from what I know. It is very common in non-puritan Europe for wives to show their appreciation to their men by showering them with high end prostitutes on anniversaries or special occasions. It is very safe sex than had their men pick some ho from the street.

“I have acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family ... [and] my sense of right and wrong,” Spitzer said in a brief statement he read to reporters at his Manhattan office. “I must now dedicate some time to regain the trust of my family.”
Spitzer, with his wife, Silda, looking on, did not specifically refer to reports earlier Monday that he had been discussed on a federal wiretap as having arranged to meet with a prostitute last month in Washington.
Jonathan Dienst, an investigative reporter for NBC affiliate WNBC in New York, and Robert Windrem, an investigative producer for NBC News, reported Monday afternoon that Spitzer was discussed on a Feb. 13 wiretap in which members of the alleged prostitution ring said he had sought the services of a woman named “Kristen.”
Law enforcement officials said Spitzer was identified as Client 9 in the records. Spitzer was in Washington on Feb. 13 to meet with congressional officials.

Client 9 asked to be reminded of what Kristen looked like and was told that she was an “American, petite, very pretty brunette, five feet five inches, and 105 pounds.”
The meeting apparently lasted from 9:36 p.m. ET, when Kristen arrived, until 12:02 a.m..
Kristen collected $4,300 from Client 9, according to the FBI affidavit. She said that the appointment went “very well” and that “she liked him and did not think he was difficult.”

I hAte every politican we have in this country. People act like it matter if it is a demopcrat or republican. Please, they both do the same shit. I am on TGO party and thats it.
If it truly is a democracy like people try to act like it is, then we each should vote on what becomes law not on the people who make them.
Like the poll in the wall street journal when that dumbass weak bill was passed on gambling, less than 15 or 20% of the nation supported it. if you aren't into it, fine, but why ban it for others who are. It has nothing to do with you.
