The RED SOX are very impressed with his progress and he is hitting 94 when he needs it!
But can he be a pitcher who out smarts a hitter or strickly a power guy!! We shall see...I think he is going to make the team.

i agree the sox have always been good at taking care of aging/hurt pitchers..

if he wins 10 i would be very happy...gives buckhotz a chance to get his time in AAA.

Why would you want Buchholz back at AAA?

Colon could win 10, or he could blow out in April...worth the gamble...if I were a Bosox fan I would want Buchholz in Boston as the #3, maybe #2 by Sept. Stop babying him and let him go...his curveball is already phenomenal, sky is the limit for him. He could very well be their best pitcher in 2008.

Where does Wakefield fit in ?

Because he got tired very early last season...soon after coming to the SOX...let him relax in AAA and bring him up later in the season..

His era in spring is like 15...he needs more time...
