The Broncs were hoping the loss to Siena in the MAAC title game did not mark the end of the season.

The Broncs had a 23-10 win over the course of the regular season and the MAAC tournament. They were riddled by injuries at the league tournament and wound up losing to that same Siena team on its home floor.
After the game, Siena coach Fran McCaffery said, "I just told Tommy Dempsey, 'You're getting a bid.'"
The Broncs beat Canisius and Marist in Albany before scoring a season-low 53 points in the final.

ODU is the lowest RPI to be invited to post season play this year. And we are seeded #2 out of 4 in the east region. This season was a lost puppy about a month ago, and now we go to the post season, what a turn around.

Everyone at the practices is psyched and they get a home game against a less motivated Rider team with a hangover from losing to Siena in the MAAC conference final. I am betting ODU for the max and laying the best number I can find at every sportsbook while it is out there."
