Could We Have A Moratorium On Copy/Pasting Long Articles

I know everyone wants to contribute.

And if you don't have any original content of your own, some of you resort to pasting news articles that you feel we all need to read.

Some of these articles are longer than Moby Dick. Are you thinking we see all that writing and start reading?

I don't think you gain any status here by posting others' longevity.

Just give a synopsis and a link.

If your synopsis interests us, we'll follow the link.

The rule is copy a portion, link back to source. Try to draw curiosity so one goes onto the original site and takes on whole article. do as i say, not as i do. :D

Re: Could We Have A Moratorium On Copy/Pasting Long Articles

There is no rule,

I've never seen a rule at EOG. From my own experience, there are days when my posts remain on one thread, and other days when my thought is sent off to some Gulag thead.

Posts get recycled into indeterminate threads daily. I persevere through the moderators.

I don't think I'm totally crazy. I just try to participate everyday. Send me where you need to.

EOG charity sends the worst of their posters elsewhere. That means kid posters. .

Far be it from me to fix the problem.
