That is incorrect. There is debt, late payment on debt, and refusal to admit or pay debt. The term stiff is way beyond owing debt, it is the refusal to pay a debt. Or blame a nephew for stealing your password. And then stating you won't pay because it made it to the forums. That is stiff, or fuckin stiff.

I suspect there are more than a few people reading this thread who have had problems due to gambling...
It is easy to throw stones at others but make sure your side of the street is clean first...
I believe Journeyman is an excellent poster but like all of us, he has made some poor choices in life...
Hopefully, he will do the right thing in this case and pay back what he owes...
I have to wonder why EOG is being asked to get involved with something that TheRx has apparently washed its hands of? :+clueless
I don't believe it is EOG'S responsibility to handle wagers that took place while he was working over there...
In other words, if someone like the Devil (who always loses to bookmakers, lol) gets in over his head while working for EOG, then his NEXT EMPLOYER is responsible for getting this resolved?

I dont support stiffing. But I also dont support certain ways of collection either. This could of been handled by email or phone. Bringing it out in a public forum is a little bitches way of doing it. And it pisses me off. I cant do nothing about it because its the internet. So I told Journey dont ever pay them.

You know, it is hard to determine what is in a person's mind, but there could be a lot of truth to that. After the fact they look for any reason or fabricate any story to justify it.

When Journey left the RX he hurt their traffic bad, he is one those guys that gets lot of positive and negative attention.
Who really cares if he owes money or not, many of us do. I have over 11 bank loans right now from gambling, at one time 3 years ago I asked Kenny for a 15k loan and he politely said
"JJ that is not going to solve your gambling problem, good luck."

Good point JJ. When Journeyman left thr RX, they found out the hard way that you just don't plug another guy in his spot there, have the guy start a bunch of threads and problem solved.
He's one of the few "acts" on the forums you just can't follow
I don't agree personally with how he's handled this situation, but at the same time, this stepped up attack from certain RX brass in my view is more about ratings than the debt itself

I have gotten a lot of support in private emails from some of those I enjoyed posting with over time, some of the very best posters...the real Rx owner loved what I brought to that site, he told me more than once, and I'm not talking about Marty Jenson.

I think/hope the death threats were by just one individual, maybe two people and I am pretty sure I know who they were from...I have forwarded them to the proper authorities.
Actually I think the support emails were backing me not paying a visa bill for some computer equipment I had purchased to work for a former employer's GM who made all sorts of promises but then renegged, not once but twice. :+clueless
