Re: Ok, gonna try something new (gonna play or fade certain teams)

Alright, I'm back. Took Sunday AND Monday off as I looked over the league and recent team news

Gonna begin fading the Cincinnati Reds, who have already begun a busy stretch of games. The team is once again talking about trading Griffey after already shaking things up in the front office recently.

This week, they have series against 2 of the hotter teams in baseball, the Marlins and the Indians.

Wish I would have jumped on the Houston Astros train earlier, but have been real impressed what I've seen nonetheless. They have started off this west coast trip in nice fashion, sweeping the Dodgers.

They won the first game in SF last night and will finish up 2 games there before heading to Texas to play their in-state rivals in Arlington. 2 very winnable series' for a team that is hitting the ball and pitching well right now

I'm on 'em

Re: Ok, gonna try something new (gonna play or fade certain teams)

Another club I will be ON this week is the Arizona D'Backs, as they face two of the biggest disappointments this season thus far, Colorado and Detroit.

The D'Backs come of a sweep at the hands of the Chicago Cubs, but I am not alarmed. The Cubs can make anyone look bad when they're on their game and were obviously the more motivated team of the two.

Speaking of motivation, Arizona should be plenty motivated to kick the Rockies around again (have won 5 of 6 vs Col in 2008), after losing to them in the NLCS last season. And it seems everyone is still waiting for the Tigers to break out of their funk, but don't expect it to happen in Arizona, where the D'Backs are at their best
