A lot-not as much as Barkley lost-but more than has been posted here so far! A LOT-and I was nervous as hell. I gave 4 points in a Bringham Young San Diego State game when Jim McMahon was the qb at BYU-a LONG time ago-BYU won by over 50 points!!! My wife at the time was pissed, because I wouldn't go with her and the kids to the park-She was all smiles when I bought her a new car the next day. The sex was great,too!!

I got DRUNK 4-5 years ago when Tampa Bay was playing Calgary for the Stanley Cup in Ice Hockey...
It was game 7 and I don't know why, but I had to have downed at least 7 Martinis (one for each previous game)...
Please keep in mind that I NEVER had bet HOCKEY before in my life and I barely understood what a puck line was...
The offshore world was thriving and I had accounts everywhere...
I started dialing each bookmaker on my list and betting TAMPA for at least 5k a shot on the Money Line...
I remember JAZZ refusing to take a 10k bet from me and calling a mutual Friend because they heard me slurring my words.
JAZZ actually made me call back after raising the line much more than normal, figuring I wouldn't bet anything else on Tampa Bay at that ridiculously high of a ML price...
But, I did, lol...
I recall laying anywhere between -130 and -180 as the size of my bets on Tampa Bay helped trigger a rapid fire heavy line move on The Lightning...
Although I was moving for BW at the time, the sports books knew he didn't bet Hockey but because of the size of my bets and the fact I was betting the Tampa Bay side so hard, they didn't know what to think...
Well, if I recall correctly, Tampa Bay was up 2-0 going into the 3rd period but Calgary scored a goal in the 3rd period and even came close to tying it up as I believe they may have hit the goal post in the same period...
I was in a drunken stupor not realizing I had risked over 200k on Tampa Bay until I called up all the sports books the next day to find out how much I had bet and won...
Even my record keeping that night was off by almost 50k...

Shrink, i had that happen to a friend on mine at school. He came home drunk from happy hour. He had a sportsbook account offshore, just 1. He had around 75$ in it (he would deposit 100$) everytime. He appartently placed a 9 team parlay with football and hockey. AND IT HIT!!! He didn't even know it because he was so drunk from the night before. He woke up and did his usual, then he went to go look at the games and to his amazement he had about 2200 in there?!, he looked at his bet history and there it was the parlay that he placed.
To this day that is the luckiest person i know. I have never known anyone to be that lucky.
