All of the following have been talked about on various political media outlets. Let's hope none of them occur. But imagine that they do.

The first week of October, 2008:

1. John McCain has a fatal heart attack.

2. Barrack Obama is gunned down by a white supremist.

3. Israel conducts a massive airborne bombing of Iran.

All happen within seven days of one another.

What happens to America and its political system?

I think the answer is not much, And I dont really like the racist tone of the question, How about obama is gunned down when he's caught trying to fuck an underage white girl? is that better?
But to expand my answer, the election would go on as scheduled and the israel angle doesnt have anything to do with our election. By the way israel doesnt have the capacity to launch anything but a single surprise attack on Iran and it would strain their resources to do even that, iran does have a somewhat capable air-force and would certainly cause significant losses if the Israeli's were to try a second strike.
