your choice of line service should be based upon several factors, including bankroll and per play amount, several options from all the services with prices structured accordingly. if you don't have one at the present i'd suggest waiting until the start of college football and try getting some "free" time from several and compare for yourself. imo the smaller gambler can justify the cost of a service based on not what they may make because of a service, but what they may save in losses as well. being an overall winner in this game is not only based on what you win but what you don't lose as well, often overlooked by new and seasoned gamblers alike.

Re: Lines Services

Thanks for the feedback fellas.

Teaze, I appreciate the advice. The only service I have used other that covers and sbr are sportsinsights. It takes alot of effort to dig thru multiple sites to get info and percentages, and injury reports, etc.

I bet anywhere from 100-500 per game on average. I occasionally bet 1200- 1500. I guess my avg plays would be considered small. I guess my most common bet is 200-300. I dont play many games though.

Some weeks during football season, I might only take 5 games a week. Sometimes, maybe closer to 10 games per week.

What service would you recommend for this scenerio? Should I try a few trials at the same time to compare them simultaneously or just use one for a week and then another afterwards?

I watch as many games as possible and crunch stats alot. I just think the info from a line service will save me time and ultimately put me on a few more games confidently. I don't play games because its on tv or because I am up or down. Thanks for your help.

I would like everyones opinion who has used these services for an extended period of time.

Re: Lines Services

SportsOptions,

Thank you kindly, Sir.

I am looking at your site now. I will look over it and email you soon. I want to take my sportsbetting to the next level when football begins. I want to be familiar with the choices out there and also be familiar with the site before the season kicks off. I will probably try the trial during baseball so I can be familiar with the site if I decide to use your services for football.

I want to combine my knowledge with the statistics and resources from one of the best services available. I my experiences, it is difficult and takes alot of time to use several free sites to get the information to study games. It often causes me to overanalyze stats and I find myself passing on games that would have been winners. Thanks again. We will talk soon.

Re: Lines Services

Buddypar4,

Do you use a specific lines service? Or do you use more than one? What is your favorite and how much is it?

Thanks for your input.

Chandler,
This thread got bumped so I decided to post as the ghost of Keneke.

I have read many of your posts. They ask for information.
You appear to be well educated and open to new information.

My suggestion is to stay with SportsInsights. They have a good quality premium product for $149 per month. We log onto SportsInsights every day. They are accurate and informative.

Between now and football you might consider some of the free trials out there. SportOptions is also a quality product. They have a 14 day free trial via email at odds@SportsOptions.com
From my limited knowledge of your posts, it appears your are with only one or two books and/or one or two locals.
I would suggest you not waste your money on any lines service.

Lines services are designed for people that move lines. And professional players with many outs.
