Thinking of testing it out, possibly starting as soon as tomorrow. I'll let you know.

Re: Anyone use BETJOINT.COM ???

No one uses them? I'd like to know how they payout , the customer service is good.

Progress report: set up account and did a Western Union deposit.

The customer service was good, the limits look medium-ish. Payout options are limited - but who isn't these days? Best payout option for me would be a cheque by courier which they said would take ~72 hours.

But that is all down the road.

US dollar accounts only. (Horrible exchange rate from WU). 25% freeplay signup bonus - 5x rollover.

Other than that, not much to report yet. I'll start checking out the lines shortly. They appear to be full juice across the board but I don't have a feeling yet for if they are opinionated or not.

Re: Anyone use BETJOINT.COM ???

That's true. I have dealt with Mark at Atlas for a few years and he has always done right by me. I wouldn't do a deposit just on that basis - I mean, at the core, he's just a salesman pushing for deposits - but it doesn't hurt.

BetJoint entered the SBR ratings a short while ago at C-. That may not sound so good on the surface but, the way SBR operates, it is actually quite high for a start-up rating.

Initial impression of the lines: full-juice and vanilla.

First you hear wrong. Mark was not the head guy at Atlas. Not even close. He was just a saleman. They operate in a pay per head call center. Not sure where your ex department heads comment comes from. As for finacial backing. Well, enter at your oen risk. Before you post BS make sure you know what your posting. Coming from this poster it figures though.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Re: Anyone use BETJOINT.COM ???

Yeah I wasn't too sure of Mark's exact position at Atlas. He is currently GM/CEO of BetJoint (or so it says on the e-mail he sent me).

Completely agree with your enter-at-own-risk comment.

Zero Cage... you think you would have learned by now.

Are you allergic to solid books with solid history ?

Re: Anyone use BETJOINT.COM ???

They sent me some emails and called me. I said I'd ask eog.com about them. I can't post up until I get my money from oddsmaker which is looking more and more like a stiff job . I'm going to fund 5dimes again if I ever get them money. Sending out blank gifts cards is low.

I am trying them and I'll tell you why. To see if there is money to be made.

So far the answer is yes.

MCP brings up some reasonable concerns. All I can say is, if I get STIFFED, it will be a first for me in my 5+ years of betting offshore.

But definitely proceed with caution.

Re: Anyone use BETJOINT.COM ???

I am with ya unluckysob been with them since day 1 with no problems at all. Was with Mark Robert's old employer few years before that. You can't beat the same day payouts free once a month. They have had some changes on payouts though. No longer same day but check delived by fedex max $2500 where it was $2000 through moneygram. I have no problem waiting the extra day or so to get the extra $500.

One complaint I have gotten from a buddy of mine was he won a contest for 150% fp at another forum deposited the max $500 expecting the 750freeplay and they told him max bonus was $500 freeplay. So he should have deposited $333 to maximize his profit on rollover requirements. I have personally collected that $750 freeplay myself. Yeah I'd say it is a bunch of BS to change rules midstream but to cover your ass it is always best to call first before you deposit to make sure everyone is on the same page!

Still a good book in my eyes. But everyone has their own good , bad and ugly experiences with the books out there!

Re: Anyone use BETJOINT.COM ???

You're not getting it. I posted several times about how reliable a book BetJoint seemed to be - they paid out and seemed honest. I thought there was no way I could ever get screwed. Look at my posts on SBR. I really respected that guy Mark - I played at Atlas and he he paid out fast and seemed so reliable at BetJoint.

BUT THEN I WON. And without any notice they turned on me and stole my money. When I contacted him, he cursed me out and told me to screw off - that he was the judge and jury and that he was taking my money and there was nothing I could do about it.

The facts speak for themselves. He didn't even have the decency to listen to 20 posters on SBR, Bill Dozer, Justin, the General - he said "I dont care WHAT ANYONE says - it's my book, and I decided that I'm taking your money and the case is closed." His own customer service guys - who got to know me from my loyal play for more than 6 months - said we're really sorry, but there's nothing we can do about it. When I explained what he did, they barely knew what to say.

This is not the case of a guy who has a grudge - they stole $3,623 from me - I have the screenshots to prove it - and I was the last person you would have thought this would happen to. I was a regular player - $400 units on games, loyal, and thought I could trust BetJoint. Then this.

Re: Anyone use BETJOINT.COM ???

I wanted to update you on BetJoint. I post my update from SBR and a link to the longer thread -
http://forum.sbrforum.com/sportsboo...e-pays-player-3-052-a.html?highlight=betjoint

I had some lengthy conversations with Mark Roberts, who is the owner of BetJoint. While he reiterated BetJoint's view, he made clear that on behalf of his book he wanted to honor the wagers I had made. Mark took the effort to look at the other side of the issue (even though he personally saw things differently), and decided to ensure that there would not be any doubt that an unclear rule would lead to a player losing out. Mark even spent the time to review the exact amount of the winnings on the wagers that should be paid out. In fact, he determined upon recalculation, that BetJoint actually owed me $3,202 from the original wagers and not $3,052 as originally calculated in my SBR post. He sent me the higher correct amount, which I think showed additional integrity on his part.

I must say that this was a very difficult situation. As you know, and as I pointed out in my earlier postings, I was a player who had ONLY the most positive feedback on BetJoint and on Mark in particular - in a time when you have to be so careful about who you play with, they were a new book that was so reliable and welcoming and paid out as fast as I have ever seen since Neteller - I don't know if I ever waited more than 24 hours for actual money in hand (including this past week, when Mark sent me the winnings from the wagers that he agreed to honor in 24 hours or so). Because of all of the positive things I saw at BetJoint, you could understand why I had such trouble seeing how this situation ever happened. But I am very happy that they did what a place like this does, and that is went the extra mile to see to it that no player would be slighted and that they honored their bets completely.

I wanted to share with you this resolution in that I want the entire truth to be out there, and as I'm sure many of you feel, to know that a book is so concerned to make sure its bets are paid and that even unclear situations are resolved is something critical to finding a book you can trust. Mark's effort to get me ALL the money owed in about 1 DAY (just like all previous payouts I had) reminds me of what kind of a place I had been dealing with.

Thanks to SBR and Bill Dozer (and bigboydan) for all of their support, feedback, and assistance throughout this little ordeal. Thanks to all of the SBR posters who took the time to read the facts and weigh in; it meant a lot to have objective people's support. I wish you all the best moving forward. And thanks to Mark and BetJoint for resolving this in a way that I think is fair, but that I understand from their perspective meant going the extra mile for their player.
