I never have or will see the movie because they had Shoeless Joe Jackson batting right-handed.

great movie.....probably one of the 2-3 best movies Costner ever made, along with No Way Out and Bull Durham.....

very heartwarming movie, and good for the whole family

1,000% agree on the other 2 mentioned - No Way Out is one of the all-time BEST MOVIES EVER! An ending NO ONE sees coming

As for this film - liked it but did NOT get teary-eyed at the end because i never played catch with my dad. he has bad eyesight when it comes to that and i played catch with my (by 3-years) younger bro

Overall - around an 8.5

8.5 I have seen this movie twice over the years. It's the type of movie you don't mind seeing again after a few years. Of course any baseball movie for me is enjoyable.
