I need to add a few new songs for spin class. There has been a huge response to my music. Heavy beats in songs like " pump it " by fergie. Or "give it to me" by madona. Up beat R&B works real well. I do speed work with dance/tech music or heavy rock like "wisky n the jar" by metallica.

If u have n e ideas please share!!

You mention "PUMP IT" and "GIVE IT TO ME" along side your avatar and expect me to type, much less think? 2348ji23e

Re: More music help please..

Perhaps: "I kissed a Girl"

But seriously, that song does have a great beat.

Re: More music help please..

Heavy rock would be good. "Crush 'Em" by Megadeath might be a good one.

Re: More music help please..

MrsOSU, is spin class how you stay in such amazing shape? I try to make time for my pilates, but I am busy...and lazy.

Re: More music help please..

Sorry, can't help on the music. I'm don't even know what "spin" is (well, at least that kind).

Sounds like something I'd be too out of shape to do.

I sing and play my fake guitar during class!! When I put my mic on I feel like a star!!!!

The laziness would go away after your body adjust, then u will crave it!!!

Well, I was joking about being lazy. I work about 65 hours a week, so fitting in a work out is tough, plus I make sure to keep moving at the second job (waitressing), so I'm sure I burn calories there....but then I eat...a lot. ::BLUSH::

Really, my metabolism is a little too fast. I'm very happy with my weight right now. I'm finally out of 0's and into 2's!! :houra But I'd like to tone up. I was a gymnast in my younger days and I miss my six pack....and having an ass you could bounce a quarter off of. Do you have any suggestions for a quick workout I could do just a couple times a week to stay toned? I have a pilates DVD that's broken down into a bunch of 10 minute workouts. When I was doing it regularly, I noticed a little difference. Should I just stick with that?

Thanks

Power yoga is tough and an all over body workout. Plus you get cardio in as well with power yoga. If you cannot find a class you can attend, which is the best choice, then you can pick up a dvd and do it at home. But try and attend a class or two so you know you are going it right!!

Being small already it takes alot of time to see a difference. And then you gotta make a habbit of it!!

I have a "bender ball" I use at home and then I use an incline at the gym. (For abs) You are using your abs in yoga as well, and in spin!!!

I hope that helps, it has taken me time to find what works the best for my body.
