of course all the time!!
when i make parlays or straight wagers with big $ before
when the game was tied in College or hockey or just needed
to hit couple of FTS or to miss some at the end i always say!
Please God make them i Promise i will wash the Dishes!
or i promise i will do my homework for college classes
or i promise i will clean my room and the house and ill take the garbageout
just whatever i was not doing or was not paying attention
that i should have done i said that so i could do it!!
i have no idea how many times i won doing that or lost doing that!
if i lost i probably said i would not clean my room for the rest of my life
or i dont care if it smells someone will take it out anyway!
but when i won! i think i would answer that question and actually do it!!
that is so much better!

if this makes any sense: if you are saying a prayer for the orioles to beat the yankees today i am sure there is at least one other person in the world saying a prayer asking that the yankees win. god would have a tough time deciding who to award the win to and if every game ended up in a tie because of prayer what would we do with all our free time with nothing to gamble on?
