It's in a lot of folk's best interest to make this appear complicated and we could spend all day untangling the spaghetti being served up but it's really simple. Poster Linesmover should know very well how this works.
You don't get the same IP address from your domain registrar. There are 11 sites currently sharing the same DNS.
The domain name server doesn't matter anyway. They can be hosted anywhere if the login goes into the same wagering platform/database. It's the same as a forum putting a login box on any site it wants. The login/signup information is sent to the same place. It's a good clue for association but doesn't matter where the info starts.
As of a couple days ago, Dunhill and Atlantisbets victims could see their balances in BetfirstClass. This doesn't happen when you share phones or office space. It happens because all the books are licensees and share the same database on the server. The db server has the same IP. It's the same if you bet into a sportsbook.com sister book. All bets might go to wagering.worldgaming.com, not to the Sportsbook.com homepage. If the book actually owned a copy of the software other sites wouldn't be able to piggy-back. The server admin needs to install filters, individual databases or use different servers.
We spoke to the owner of the operation the day following the report and it turns out we have in the past when he was working for SportsCallCenter, a similar service that hosted sites such as 4Sportspicks, BetWGN (former owner of Changeabet) Dreamwager, and Palacebets (first and last one possibly after he was there).
He was forthcoming about what happened in the past and how he regretted setting up the other sites. He stated that he would be changing how things are done going forward.
The turnkey customer (BFS) could be anyone. As with all turnkeys it's impossible to know who the "investors," and "partners" are so we look at what we know which is that its a sportsbook on a network with a poor record, with an owner who doesn't understand his setup or website. Maybe he is or isn't a top old school bookie who is getting a crash course in post-up.
SBR has always said the same thing about these situations. These operators shouldn't get a free pass for doing everything but washing the car of anonymous stiffs. Stiffs already recycle their websites as it is.
All the new skinned site guys say the same thing...we never stiffed and we never slow-pay, until a USDbet BetCSL ewinner or the entire Futurebet network goes does down except for Oddsmaker. Recently we saw BetSportsInc serviced by Cascade leave because they didn't want to be associated with them.
On the flip side, if CRIS lets another bookmaker park their car in their lot they make sure they never stiff a player.
