I don't even blame Gagne. Anyone with the slightest baseball knowledge (not Ned Yost) knows he's no longer a big-league pitcher.

Blame goes to Yost for calling Gagne's number in a 1-run game in the 8th over Guillermo Mota, who has 10 straight scoreless appearances and didn't allow a run in August.
