I know you are busy with the poker deal, but maybe, just maybe when you get some spare time could you do a q+a here about the poker front. I think it would help alot of novice players out that really have no idea what they are doing but would have many questions. Would you be up for that?

I already know TT's Secret I have seen it in action and he has told me a few times


1. Get drunk wasted beyond belief to the point were you are staggering and swaying in place and slurring your speech

2. Find a poker room like Oshea's In Vegas at 3am

3. Proceed to play with NO fear and win a ton

4. also add in a HUGE amount of UNREAL Luck

Ball, I'd be up for it as long as no one takes it personal if I plead the 5th & refuse to answer some questions. I'd probably confuse people more than anything because I've migrated from tourneys to cash games, which are two entirely different animals as far as I'm concerned.

If nothing else, I'm sure I could provide some general tips that I've picked up from the real pros.

Tip #1....sleep all day & show up at the poker room between 8-11pm every night(Ideally 10-11pm). I spent a week or two on that schedule, and it sucks-but it's also where you make your $$$$.

Unless I absolutely have to, I'm not going to turn into a vampire to make this work.

I've seen so many hands of poker lately, nothing phases me anymore. I've lost count of how many times I've seen aces cracked in the last 3 days, let alone the last 45.

Jump hard, and jump early has become my motto. If you get a couple callers, awesome. If not, it still beats getting sucked out on.

Who the hell are you trying to kid....don't pretend like you sleep normal hours....I think you are normally at your best around the late night drunks....


I can't imagine you being a cash game grinder....you seen like you would go insane waiting for the spots/hands.

Sounds good T. With your schedule do you want questions in a random order from the peanut gallery or would you be here a certain time. One question. I am a total poker novice. When you a novice gets started what type of poker do you recommend. Also a "cash game" is that where you pretty much sit and go in an attempt to win rather than sit and play in a tourney correct? Aside from the questions the tips are appreciated and please feel free to add any. For anyone reading feel free to jump in and ask. Like I said I am totally green at poker but always have like the game but afraid to play only because of not having the knowledge to play.

No, I don't play smoked 85% of the time-but I'm starting to question that, because I do my best acting(and win the most BY FAR) when I am. Live is definitely my game-screw playing online.

Hey Ball....give me a couple days-I'm tied up right now(not literally...lol), and will probably be without net access until Tues or Wed depending on when Cox desides to show up(Moving tomorrow.....fun, real fun).

Ballwonder, I used to play online poker more than almost anyone you will meet. I was playing 4-10 hours a day and would win an occassional tournament for $3000-5000. But I kept noticing that it was MUCH harder than live tournaments or live No Limit poker action.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.


I have almost stopped playing no limit totally. Playing live poker is much easier to make money in my opinion. But you also have to have a poker room near you house.



Now I know that you didnt ask me, but alot of online players are doing just the same. Playing $5-5 nolimit or $5-10 no-limit at my local casino is just too easy to even waste time playing online poker again. The only problem is that we only have good games about 3-4 nights a week. Although those games can last 20 hours each usually. I have started playing $5-10 Pot Limit Omaha as well. No one seems to play that game well
