What will the ND / Marq line be tomorrow ?

Re: What will the ND / Marq line be tomorrow ?

Must win for the Irish in this game, however not sure they can get it done against a terrific Marquette team.

A point not to overlook in this matchup, is the emotion of ND after losing that long home winning streak I think was at 45. The Irish walked on to that home court w/ alot of swagger, and now sitting 10th in the conference they might be starting to second guess themselves. Luke H and Kyle M can go off and any team and win, but if they do lose back to back home games, this teams future is in serious jeporady.

Might sound crazy but this team could fade into the bubble of making the NCAA tourney if they don't start picking up some quality wins.

Im hoping its 6 or more so I can take Marquette, still gotta filter through a lot of info before final answer but thats my first impression. Probably see it at 4 or 5 though.

LVSC send out # is -3. You can get this info everyday at Las Vegas Insider for free (for those that dont already know). These arent the actual casino lines but its what they usually start with before shading one way or the other. Actual lines are usually the same or very close.

The more I think about this matchup i like Marquette ML. . . Nd, must get more balance on offense to mix up these tough big east defenses. Now Nd point guard T Jackson sets up everything for this offense when they are clicking, because everyone is so concerned w/ Luke H and Kyle M but he does dont bold well against relentless ball pressure,a la the Louisville game.

Marquette quickness in the back court should be able to force ND into tough situations and not allow Jackson to be effective. Nd is quickly becoming a two man team because opposing defenses are keying on stopping the rest of the team.

Watch out for Dominic James and Jerel McNeal to cause turnovers and get some easy buckets at the other end, also taking down the crowd noise.

The Irish have alot of talent, but I really think they are going to continue to decline in this Big East conference.

This game will make or break Notre Dame seasons, but im leaning to break at this point.

Would feel much better if James could hit a FT.
