Yanks receive: Hanley Ramirez
Marlins receive: $300 Million


... Would you accept?


(I think we all know the MLB would never let this happen but just for what if purposes...)


We all know the Marlins could use the money. I think that would pay for about 7 years of their payroll right there. Also, we all know the Yankees could afford to do it.

As one of the seven Marlin fans, I figure I am about 16th in line to the GM.

I would take it in a heartbeat.

On a related note, Mr. Smith did offer us a half-eaten sandwich that bears the likeness of David Ortiz, a 1984 Pawtucket baseball card set (near mint) and a David Archuleta signed 8 X 10 for Hanley but we had to politely decline.

Marlins would accept in a second. 300 mil??? Hanley is an absolute stud and a top 5 player in baseball, but 300 mil?? Marlins would be fools to turn that down.
