Mofome, what you did over the weekend and today is greatly appreciated by many posters. It raises the respectability of EOG up several notches. I?ll bet The Shrink is pleased to know his site can no longer be known as haven for stiffs and thieves. Shedding the bad reputation required some tough moves and you have stood strong in your position and made it happen. That?s leadership.
Some posters say that there are posters here who have committed much worse crimes than stiffing a fellow gambler and this is undoubtedly true. However, in the context of this site the act of stealing from your fellow sportsbettor by stiffing is about as bad as it gets. This is especially true when it is done in a way Jman has done. There have been broken promises, outright lies, taunting of the one who is owed by posting pics of stacks of cash and other bragging of wealth, general arrogance, deflecting attention away accountability by attacking other posters? character, etc. That?s not just stiffing, but aggravated stiffing.
Journeyman should not be allowed to slither out of this either by just promising (yet again) to begin payments or to only make a few payments. He was given that opportunity already and he made one or two (or a very few) payments and then stopped. At this point let?s require him to pay the amount in full before being even considering removing the ban.

Sportsbettors are a rare breed and we should have some standard against thieves in our midst. We are being attacked by the US government, moral crusaders, the NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA, power hungry politicians who seek votes and many more; we shouldn?t attack each other by stealing and stiffing each other. Harboring stiffs on message boards like this is a cannibalistic cancer against any higher standard for which we strive. Let?s move on, win some money, and leave the thieves, liars and stiffs behind.
