Been ther many times. At midnight the cops walk down burbon street saying carnivals over--everyone off the street. Fire truck starts hoseing everything down--Just like that the month long party is over. Those cops are in a bad mood --do what they say. A lot of fun when I was in my 20s. Religious celebration.
